We rented the Cowboy cabin for 3 nights. These cabins are as nice as any I've stayed in; very modern and clean! The Cowboy is a studio, but there was more than enough room for my wife and I and our 10-week old baby set up in her pack-n-play. Most short-term rentals are awful to cook in because of cheap or inadequate cookware, but I knocked out 5 meals with relative ease. There is also an almost-new Weber kettle that was more than capable of turning out decent steaks and brats if you know your way around a grill. The best place we found for groceries was Sloan's Market in Vonore. The Save-A-Lot in Tellico Plains had a really weak selection of everything, so I would recommend stocking up on supplies in Vonore, Madisonville, or Etowah before you get into town.
I stayed in the Deer cabin in January of 2017, the cabin was perfect ....well maintained had everything I needed for a great vacation. The hot-tub was awesome after a long day of hiking.
Nice clean cabins, great for couples, washer/dryer in each cabin and hot tub! Paved road gentle laying, some are pet friendly, large open grass space for pet exercise. Nice efficiency kitchen, motorcycle friendly neighborhood.
Wonderful little place. We really enjoyed our weekend there.
My family just got back from the BEST TRIP we have ever taken!! We stayed in the Cowboy Cabin, and had a hard time leaving! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous - had everything we needed and more. Having our own washer and dryer was a definite bonus :) The porch on the cabin offered lots of privacy and it even had it's own back yard! The bed was extremely comfortable, and overall everything about the cabin exceeded our expectations (and the pictures we saw online when reserving do not even come close to describing it's beauty - you need to experience it in person!!). Exploring the Cherokee National Forest during the day and relaxing in the hot tub at night ended up being the perfect getaway for our family. Our 4 year old and 2 year old LOVED the cabin, and our German Shorthaired Pointer even got to come along! Such a perfect, sweet, and amazing time at the Cowboy Cabin. We are already looking at dates to schedule our next trip!! THANK YOU !!!!
