Big Dog is a Big Liar. I have been staying at Caney Creek cabins for 16 years now and love it. I will continue to go there. The woman who owns it is a very sweet kind lady who will go out of her way to make you feel not only warmly welcome, but right at home. And she does that quickly with her affordable rates that are second to none in Tellico Plains Tn. So don't' listen to Big Dog the Big liar.
We have stayed here a few times. We stay one week at a time. It is great for family or a couple retreat. It is the best place to stay in tellico. I would recommend it to anyone.
we stayed there a week and loved it,you can go to sleep with the sound of the creek,the people that run it are friendly and helpfull,,the views are awesome,,you can day trip to any where in east tennessee,, to nashville,,north carolina ,is just across the cherahalla skyway,that has all the mountain views--we didnt bring a motorcycle but the devils backbone is real close,and the rates are real reasoneable--cant wait to go back
This place has a realty office now. They do NOT rent cabins anymore. Realtor was a lovely person though.
